2017 Talent Conference for the Tech Industry

The fight for great talent in the Vancouver tech industry is incredibly competitive.  There are more opportunities than there are qualified candidates to take them.   Start-ups are competing with the industry giants to attract people but with significantly smaller budgets for the expensive perks that make working at a big company so enticing. The good news is those things are not game changers for recruitment. Creating an amazing employer brand is critical in the talent acquisition game. While perks may gain you some initial attention, candidates are looking for more meaningful things that will genuinely attract them to - and keep them at – your company.
